The 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee is composed of 20 nationally recognized nutrition and public health experts appointed by the U.S. Departments of Health and Human Services and Agriculture. All systematic reviews for this committee undergo external peer review coordinated by staff from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
